What the list is, and what it is not
A simple guide for anyone considering whether to nominate someone.
Anyone aged 24 or under on [CUTOFF DATE], anywhere in the world, who has created something meaningful, made an impact or shown exceptional potential. Early-stage work counts. What matters is the work and its contribution, not just titles or credentials.
An independent panel reviews every nomination against the work, impact and potential of the nominee. They consider what someone has built, who it serves and what they have achieved with the resources available to them.
Honourees are featured on the website, recognised through the 2026 announcement and connected with a network of mentors, founders, peers and future cohort members.
The Hallmarks
These are the marks we look for, struck into work that was built long before anyone was watching. We're looking for outliers, people compounding faster than their is “possible”.
Impact
Measurable, named, verifiable change at scale — revenue, reach, policy or law, where the unit varies but the evidence doesn’t. Advances one of the Sustainable Development Goals.
Innovation
Original, unconventional answers to problems the market left unsolved, and to constraints everyone else had learned to accept. Renders the old solution obsolete.
Empowerment
A visible second generation of builders, founders and organisers — others hired, funded, taught, convinced. Started because this person went first.
Sustainability
Durable economics, resilient institutions, long time horizons, structurally built for decades rather than one person’s energy. Outlasts its founder.
Future Minds
Ambitious, unreasonable, generous beyond age or resources, and entirely uninterested in permission. Embodies the spirit of a changemaker.
