Step-by-Step Learning
Every founder starts somewhere. Here's where ours begin.
Reserve seats for your students. We handle everything else.

Students turn a rough idea into a real venture. Something they can actually launch.

They present to real founders, mentors and investors. The kind of room most people wait years to get into.

Problem-solving, communication, working through the messy middle. The capabilities every future needs, picked up by building.
They meet angels, mentors and founders throughout the program. They leave with contacts in industry most adults spend years trying to build.
They take an idea and turn it into a working business, tested on real customers. By the end they've got something real to show for it.
The best teams walk away backed. What starts as a school program becomes a business that outlives it.
They've stood in front of real founders and investors. They stop doubting whether they belong in the room
They leave knowing they can make things happen. A story they carry into every application and interview after.

A day in the life
Students arrive and check in.
An energising kick-off that sets the tone for the day. Facilitators open by sharing the moments that defined their journeys, the risks, the failures, the breakthroughs. From the very first minute, students start seeing themselves differently.
What does it really take to think like an innovator? This session unpacks the mindset behind every great idea, exploring how the world's boldest problem-solvers approach challenges differently, and how every student in the room can too.
Students are thrown headfirst into a challenge that demands creativity, communication and quick thinking. By the end, they've built something together, and discovered what they're capable of when they back themselves and each other.
A chance to recharge and keep the conversation going, connecting with facilitators and swapping ideas with peers from other schools.
Students take everything from the morning and push it further, refining their concepts and stress-testing their thinking. Facilitators move through the room, challenging assumptions and helping teams uncover angles they hadn't considered. It's where students explore how what they've built can create genuine impact in their school or community.
Facilitators bring the day to a close, celebrating what's been built and how far everyone has come. The Top teams have the opportunity to access our 6-week program, to take their idea from today into reality.

Questions we get asked
Find quick answers to the most common questions about our programs, process, and learning experience.
Nope. You don't need an idea to begin, just an open mind. We'll guide you to spot a real problem and shape it into something worth building. You will need a team of three to take part, so grab a couple of friends to get started.
We believe learning should be hands-on, and even fun. Each week has a learning milestone that builds toward your real business, like developing your business plan. You'll submit six checkpoints across the program, each reviewed and graded by our team of assessors, who give you genuine feedback along the way.
We're committed to making FutureHack accessible. We consider needs-based support using measures like a school's ICSEA score and low-income status, so places may be available for students who need them. Get in touch to find out more.
Yes. Every student who successfully completes the program receives an official Certificate of Completion, issued by Future Minds Network and an accredited Australian university. It can also count toward recognition of prior learning, meaning academic credit toward a future degree, depending on your study plan and each university's course rules.
Six weeks, six jumps forward.
Every moment is hands-on and fast-paced, built to show young people what they can create when they're trusted to lead. There's no sitting and listening, just doing, from the first idea to the final pitch.
Teamwork
You'll be placed into a team and meet students you've never worked with before. You'll learn to collaborate under real pressure, play to each other's strengths, and discover what you can build together.
Real-world challenges
You'll take on a genuine problem worth solving, from your own community to the wider world. You'll learn to look past the obvious, spot opportunities others miss, and turn a real issue into the seed of an idea.
Industry mentorship
You'll meet real founders and innovators from your own region, right there in the room. They'll share how ventures actually start, guide you as you shape your idea, and answer the questions you've always wanted to ask.
The pitch
You'll finish by pitching your team's idea to a real audience. You'll learn to shape a clear, compelling story, present with confidence, and get genuine feedback on your very first idea. By the end, you'll have gone from a blank page to a real pitch, in a single day.
Learn Smarter, Grow Faster
Gain practical skills, expert guidance, and real-world experience designed to help you achieve your goals with confidence.
Class of 2026
Meet the exceptional learners, innovators, educators, & changemakers who have demonstrated outstanding achievement, leadership, and impact within the Future Minds community.

Favour Eragbie is an inspiring leader who supports the well-being and development of her team. Through her leadership at Youth for Environmental Conservation Initiative formerly Friends of Nature Network, she prioritises the needs of young people from low-income communities across Africa to develop innovative climate solutions to tackle climate change.
This initiative has delivered programs, engaged with youths, and collaborated with individuals from over 20 countries in Africa and implemented over 80 conservation projects under her leadership.
Through the cleanup programs, they have successfully prevented the release of 22,000 kg of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere and planted over 2,500 tree saplings to support reforestation and improve nutrition through fruit tree planting initiatives.
She has provided experiential learning opportunities to 25,000 individuals, empowering them to adapt to climate change and fostering positive environmental behaviors.
She has also trained 800 youth leaders who are now spearheading climate initiatives across 20 African countries.
She has strengthened environmental education through strategic media outreach, partnerships with university faculty and student forums, and collaborations with over 24 elementary and high schools across Nigeria, Kenya, Liberia, and Cameroon. These efforts aim to cultivate a culture of sustainability and support relevant educational policies.
Additionally, she is a Student Ambassador Coordinator with Nature Positive Universities, where she leads efforts to empower higher education students across 59 countries through capacity-building programs to take proactive actions to restore nature. This initiative currently has over 138 universities pledged and 857 student ambassadors from 108 countries globally.

Over the past three years, my work has directly impacted over 3,000 young people across Rwanda, Nigeria, and other parts of Sub-Saharan Africa. These include secondary and tertiary students, youth in refugee camps, and early-career professionals. My mission has been to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity through initiatives focused on education, energy, and technology.
I co-founded the Tangaza Fellowship, a hands-on, project-based training that empowers local underprivileged students with entrepreneurial and technical skills. In partnership with Carnegie Mellon University Africa and a team of volunteers, we designed curriculums targeting problem-solving, prototyping, and pitching—skills often inaccessible to underserved groups. We engaged over 450 students in the pilot, many of whom have gone on to secure internships and launch community projects of their own.
Through my leadership roles with YOUNGO, the youth constituency to the UNFCCC, I’ve helped amplify youth voices in energy transition spaces. As Co-Chair of a UN Youth Office working group on Critical Energy Transition Minerals (CETM), I facilitated dialogues between African youth and global energy leaders, impacting over 2,500 participants through workshops, policy briefs, and advocacy campaigns.
In total, I have raised over $18,000 in direct and in-kind funding to support these initiatives through fellowships, academic support, and donor engagement. This funding enabled us to cover training materials, provide internet access for refugee participants, and support community-driven projects.
For instance, during a Tangaza Refugee Outreach Program, we trained 60 youth in digital literacy and public speaking. One participant, who had never used a computer before, is now interning remotely with a Kenyan tech startup. This transformation is a testament to the power of targeted investment and human-centered education.
What this means for those I work with is possibility—a future where their dreams are not limited by geography or circumstance, but fueled by community, access, and belief.

Isha Singhal, the creator of IshaOnTheField, is redefining how women’s sport is covered, consumed, and celebrated in Australia. In under 12 months, her independent platform has reached over 20 million viewers, amplifying the stories of players, coaches, and communities across every level of the game — from grassroots clubs to the Matildas.
Isha’s work has directly impacted numerous players and coaches, particularly in underrepresented leagues such as the A-League Women, NPL Women’s competitions. Her content has helped players gain more mainstream media attention, career opportunities, and a visible platform to express their experiences. For fans — especially young women and girls — her storytelling offers connection, visibility, and a sense of belonging in a sporting landscape where women’s voices are often sidelined.
Through a mix of short-form video, interviews, and commentary, Isha provides high-quality, accessible coverage with little to no funding. She attends matches, interviews players, and edits content solo — often within hours of a game — ensuring players are celebrated while momentum is high.
While IshaOnTheField is primarily self-funded, Isha has secured partnerships and grants totalling over $3,000 which she has reinvested into travel, production equipment, and supporting community football events.
Many semi-professional athletes she covers juggle full-time jobs and receive little media attention — yet Isha ensures their goals, tackles, and triumphs are celebrated like any elite moment. For audiences, she shifts the narrative from token coverage to genuine excitement about women’s football. There is room here to "create something new in how we cover women's sport", is Isha's guiding motto.

Fasbeer Eskander has been part of Footsteps since 2019 and has played a central role in shaping and driving many of the organization’s most impactful programs. During the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, he independently mobilized and deployed resources that provided critical support to over 100,000 individuals during the nationwide lockdown. His continued dedication and leadership have since ensured that Footsteps' initiatives have positively impacted 721,954 people across Bangladesh.
Under Fasbeer's guidance, a total of BDT 17,098,309 was raised through strategic leadership in both operations and partnerships. A significant portion of this was sourced through his extensive global network. Having lived in the UK for several years and maintaining strong ties in the US, Fasbeer leveraged these connections to secure consistent international support for Footsteps.
Despite his substantial contributions, Fasbeer has usually stayed under the radar within the organization. He’s remained humble and quietly focused, never seeking the spotlight, even as his impact has grown. I believe it’s time that contribution is recognized.
The reach of his work spans 42 districts across Bangladesh. In the aftermath of the devastating floods of September 2024, his efforts alone helped over 40,000 affected individuals. Of the total beneficiaries reached through Footsteps' programs, approximately 100,000 were from urban centers, while the majority came from remote rural and marginalized communities.
The programs he’s led have included access to clean drinking water, sanitation and hygiene services, school libraries for children, solar panels for off-grid fishing communities, and storage sheds for struggling farmers. Each effort reflects a thoughtful, community-driven approach to sustainable change.
One standout example is the UNDP AFCIA Grant project in Kurigram district. Fasbeer led this initiative from start to finish, focusing on empowering women in flood-prone areas—specifically Ulipur, Char Rajibpur, and Rowmari. Through the introduction of the Dreamwater Portable Filter, women were trained as disaster responders and entrepreneurs, using advanced UV technology to turn contaminated floodwater into safe drinking water. This project alone reached 3,350 people and strengthened community resilience in a deeply meaningful way.
Fasbeer’s leadership, commitment, and empathy have made a lasting difference. His recognition through the Future Minds 35 Under 35 list would not only celebrate his journey but also motivate his teams at Footsteps Bangladesh and Footsteps Global, who continue to be inspired by his example.

As the founder and executive director of Moo-vement for a Change, I’ve built a passionate team of young advocates dedicated to fighting for animal rights in the meat industry and advancing environmental sustainability. What began as a personal passion project quickly grew into a movement—I’ve recruited and led a team of high school and college students who now manage outreach, education, fundraising, and social media efforts. Together, we’re driving meaningful change in our community by challenging the status quo and speaking up for the voiceless.
We’ve directly impacted over 500 people through workshops, digital campaigns, school presentations, and community events that shed light on the unethical practices of factory farming and its devastating effects on the environment. Our advocacy encourages more mindful eating, sustainable living, and a broader cultural shift toward compassion. In addition to our local work, we’ve extended our impact globally by donating to cow sanctuaries in India and Africa—supporting rescue efforts and providing resources for the humane care of animals in regions where they are often neglected or mistreated.
In recognition of this work, I was honored to be selected as a Riley’s Way Call for Kindness Fellow, chosen from hundreds of applicants nationwide. This fellowship is helping me expand Moo-vement’s reach and sharpen my skills as a leader.
Beyond Moo-vement, I’ve continued using my voice to advocate for systemic change. I was proud to serve as South Carolina’s Youth Speaker of the House, where I led legislative sessions and mentored younger delegates. I was also selected as a delegate to the Conference on National Affairs (CONA), where I brought my passion for animal rights and environmental policy to a national platform—introducing peers from across the country to the cause and encouraging youth-driven policy solutions rooted in empathy and sustainability.
Case Study: One of our most impactful campaigns, Music for a Moo-vement, paired the art of music with action. I organized and hosted a live community "concert" that brought together musicians, students, and families to raise awareness about animal rights and the environmental harm caused by industrial farming. It created a space where advocacy felt approachable, creative, and inspiring. For many attendees, it was their first exposure to the realities of factory farming—and several left committed to changing their habits. The success of this event proved that activism doesn’t have to look one way; it can be joyful, artistic, and still drive real change.
Through this work, I’ve learned that kindness is not passive—it’s active, bold, and deeply needed. I’m proud to be creating a "moo-vement" that speaks up for animals, challenges unsustainable systems, and empowers young people to lead with purpose.

Have raised $290,000 across 5 years for Youth Climate Collaborative. We support youth, ages 35 and under, to get involved and sustain their involvement in the climate movement, and advance their action. We are working on our exact impact metrics, but we have run 15 climate mental health workshops in person and online, led two leadership trainings online, trained three organizations to lead climate mental health workshops, provided free/affordable housing to over 120 youth during various climate events, provided badges/free tickets to numerous youth to attend events, developed a desktop app called Jaali to connect changemakers advancing the SDGs with each other, resources, and opportunities, share 300+ opportunities per month via our whatsapp groups and social media, and more. We provide technical support to our hubs, plan and host events, are doing research on intergenerational governance models, have helped youth attain life changing opportunities, connect youth with media opportunities such as films, magazines, and speaking gigs, and much more. We will work to quantify our efforts soon.
I am also a co-founder and now board member of the Entertainment + Culture Pavilion.

Future of COVID19
At the height of COVID-19, young people across Australia were living through disruption they had no say in shaping. Casual work disappeared overnight, study was interrupted at the worst possible moment, and isolation stretched long enough to leave a mental health toll that outlasted the lockdowns themselves. Meanwhile the recovery was being designed almost entirely by people it would affect least.
How might we build a recovery that reflects what young people actually went through, using solutions they generate themselves?
