Blessing Akpan envisions a system where quality education is accessible to every citizen and becomes the ship on which sustainable development is built. Her #1Child1Book campaign in 2018 improved literacy ability of over 100 rural children in Akwa Ibom State and counting. Today, Blessing has expanded passions to programming and coding. Blessing is a Scratch educator, introducing and enlightening kids about technology via the Scratch programming platform. As a Technovation mentor, she also trains and supports young girls to solve real world problems in local and global communities using technology.

Anya Dillard is a 19-year-old activist, philanthropist, social entrepreneur, content creator, and aspiring filmmaker. She is also the founder of The Next Gen Come Up – a 501(c)3 nonprofit that encourages young people to explore activism, pursue community service, and raise awareness through creative expression. In her community, Anya is best known for helping to organize the largest civil rights protests in West Orange history (garnering an audience of over 3,000 people), co-organizing her town’s first-ever Juneteenth Celebration, contributing to her high school's first climate strike walkout, and being appointed as president of the first all-female all POC Student Council cabinet in her high school’s history. Most recently, Anya partnered with The Emmett Till Legacy Foundation and co-founded the Youth Never Let Up Coalition – a collective of Gen Z organizers that are collectively working with the Till family to organize actions demanding justice for Emmett Till and push for Carolyn Bryant Donham to face federal charges for her involvement in Till’s lynching.

Coming from a small village in my country, I have never had the privilege to have access to what the majority of the students from all bigger cities have. I can't forget those days like when I was in grade 10 I lost my grandfather, then back again I lost my grandmother as well when I was about to give my final grade 11 exams. Since my father had to leave outside to fulfil our necessities, all the responsibilities are on my shoulders, and I am leading my family over here which affects my academics a lot. Later on, when I was in grade 12 before the main board examinations I got dengue that affects my whole mental health and I have been in bed rest for at least two months. This affects my final senior year grades. Hence, I could not get into a good college in the end to study. At that time, COVID-19 had spread all over India. I have decided this is the time when I need to change things and make my life better and secure my future. I have started searching Google. Then, I learned the English language for free and found many non-profit organisations across the globe. Gradually, I have started building the skills and knowledge that I have been always looking for to explore things. It took me almost 3-4 months to transform myself 360 degrees and start a new life. It was March month 2022 till that day I was able to build a bigger network. Since that time I have fully matured and know to understand the situation of society. I have started to realise that people like me who are living in smaller towns don't have access to the quality of education, this is not the problem facing me, instead, there are thousands of students who are facing this problem.I have decided to take an initiative over here and have created my organisation called Opportunities Platform. I have started collaborating with other organisations across the globe and finding opportunities that can be helpful for everyone to learn and build a new skill for free. That's how my journey started so far and still, it's going on. It's been almost 9 months since the Opportunities Platform started, and I have been able to reach these certain numbers.* Have reached 62+ Countries and shared our opportunities with the students.*Has been supported by more than 40 non-profit organisations across the globe at present.* I have helped 2500+ students by finding out their interest-based opportunities and making their life easier to learn.*Created a telegram community where more than 500 students all over the world have joined and are taking advantage of our opportunities. *I also have created a personalised app group like study abroad to help students with college admissions.There are many things to talk about since I don't have that word limit to share over here. But, if you wanted to know more about my impact and success. I consider my biggest success to be bringing a smile to someone's sad face and receiving their positive blessings. Due to the family’s financial constraints, Tuyet, aged 8, was sent away to live with her grandparents, where she thankfully could continue her education. When she returned, she became the valedictorian at the best school in her province. Tuyet says that education has helped her become financially independent – an opportunity closed to many of her friends. Drawing on her experiences, she has started multiple initiatives to promote affordable education, directly benefiting 500 students and indirectly 80,000 students. These range from free academic tutoring, research training, and professional training in digital skills, as well as funding for educational resources for underprivileged schools.

Anastasiia Lapatina is a reporter for The Kyiv Independent. They have written about the horrific events during Russia's invasion of Ukraine, filing stories about bombings, hospitals in towns occupied by Russian soldiers, and cyberattacks. The 21-year-old undergrad has leveraged their social media following of over 600,000 users to advocate for change and has written op-eds for The Guardian and The New York Times, including a piece about the refugee crisis on the Poland-Ukraine.
