Youth
Atlas
Australia’s first interactive map of the youth engagement sector
Across Australia and the Asia-Pacific, young people are leading bold, creative, and urgent work. From mental health to gender justice to climate action, they’re building change from the ground up.
To help you see who’s doing what — and where — we’ve created interactive maps to showcase youth-focussed organisations, social enterprises, and initiatives tackling big issues across our region.
How to use THE ATLAS

Just use the Filter tool at the top left of the map. Here’s how:

AUSTRALIA's first youth engagement mapping
Designed by Future Minds Network (2021)
A map of youth-led orgs across the country — from grassroots collectives to established movements. Search by location, theme, or size, and discover the people behind the work.

UNDERSTANDING THE LANGUAGE WE USE
The youth engagement sector includes many types of organisations – all of which support young people in different ways. To help you navigate the map, we use three key terms:
- Youth-Informed – These organisations work for young people. Young voices may be consulted or included in research, but they’re not part of decision-making.
- Youth-Led – These are created and driven by young people. They’re leading the work, making the calls, and setting the agenda.
- Co-Designed – These organisations work with young people. Young people are involved at every step, as collaborators and co-creators.
This language helps show how power is shared, and how young people are involved in shaping the work.
ASIA PACIFIC'S MAPPING OF ONLINE GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE (OGBV) INITIATIVES
Designed by Future Minds Network and UN Women’s 30 for 2030 Network (2023).*
A regional snapshot of organisations, networks, and movements working to end gender-based violence. It highlights efforts across the Asia-Pacific that centre youth, survivor voices, and local leadership.
⚠️ Please note – This is a crowdsourced map, with entries reviewed through a basic background check. Future Minds Network, 30 for 2030 Network and UN Women are not responsible for the conduct or operations of any of the organisations listed in the interactive map. We encourage you to explore thoughtfully and do your own checks before getting involved.
Victoria's MAPPING OF
social enterprises
Commissioned by Social Enterprise Network Victoria (SENVIC)
We’re building a map of social enterprises across Victoria’s Eastern Metro region — places you can support by eating, hiring, or buying local.
Each one is doing more than just business. They’re creating jobs, supporting communities, and making impact part of everyday life.
